🌟 Transformational Lesson of the Week: Ms. Gilley’s AP European History Class! 🌟

Students in Ms. Gilley’s class engaged in an innovative and technology-driven project—The Enlightenment AI Advisor Chat Bot Creation Project! Students designed their own AI advisors that applied ideas from the Enlightenment and the Scientific Revolution to real-world decision-making.

Through this experience, students demonstrated multiple elements of our Graduate Profile:

💬 Effective Communicator – Clearly expressed and defended their reasoning while analyzing ethical and societal impacts.
📚 Mastery Learner – Applied complex historical concepts to new and authentic situations.
💡 Innovative Problem Solver – Designed creative, technology-infused solutions to historical governance challenges.
🤝 Productive Collaborator – Shared ideas and provided feedback to refine and strengthen their projects.
🌍 Community Contributor – Considered how Enlightenment principles influence leadership and society today.
🎯 Self-Directed Navigator – Managed their project timelines, reflected on learning, and connected past ideas to present-day implications.

👏 Way to go, Ms. Gilley, for designing a lesson that truly embodies our vision of developing well-rounded, future-ready learners!

🇺🇸 Veterans Day Celebration at BCHS 🇺🇸

This week, our school came together for a powerful Veterans Day Assembly to honor the men and women who have served our country. The entire program was organized and led by our JROTC cadets, who did an outstanding job planning, presenting, and showing respect throughout the ceremony.

We were proud to welcome several community members and veterans who joined us for this meaningful event. Thank you for your service and for taking the time to celebrate with our students and staff. 💙❤️

🎉 Congratulations to our Quarter 1 All A and A/B Honor Roll Students! 🥳

We’re so proud of your hard work and dedication! Keep it up, Cougars! 💪📚
