It’s GAME DAY, Cougar Nation! 🔥 Our Bullitt Central Cougars are taking on a big district rival at North Bullitt High School, and we need the stands packed with maroon and gray pride!

This always-intense county matchup brings big energy, high stakes, and even bigger Cougar pride! 💪🐾 Let’s show up strong and support our student-athletes on the road as they battle it out.

Get ready, Cougars! 🐾 Basketball Homecoming Week is next week, and we can’t wait to celebrate with a week full of school spirit, excitement, and Cougar pride! 🎉 Students are encouraged to show their Cougar spirit by participating in our spirit dress days all week long—let’s see that Cougar pride! 

We will have our Homecoming Dance on Friday, February 13 from 9:00–11:00 PM in the Aux (small) Gym! This year’s theme is Midnight Masquerade, so get ready for a fun and unforgettable night. 🖤❤️✨

👗 Attire: Semi-formal
🎟️ Tickets: $15 (on sale the week of the dance)
🎶 Special Guest DJ bringing the vibes all night long!

This event is for Bullitt Central students ONLY (photo ID required).

BCHS & BCPS Code of Conduct will be enforced.

Students may bring one small bag (bags will be searched—less is best!).

No vapes, tobacco, alcohol, or illegal substances permitted.

No re-entry—once you leave, you may not return.

We are pleased to announce that Online Registration (OLR) for the 2026–2027 school year will officially open on Monday, March 9, 2026 🗓️

⚠️ Important Update for This Year
All existing families will be required to upload:

– A current Photo ID or Driver’s License for the parent/guardian that includes a current address, and

– Two (2) proofs of residency

This step helps ensure the accuracy of our enrollment records and that we have up-to-date address information for all families ✅

📂 Get Ready Now!
We encourage families to begin gathering the required documents before March 9 to make the registration process quick and smooth 🚀

– Authentic home builder contract with approved district transfer, lease agreement, closing statement, or other home dwelling document

We’re excited to recognize Mr. Brown and Ms. Wimsatt for delivering a truly impactful learning experience in their Health classes! This week, they welcomed ten nursing students from Bellarmine University, who led engaging lessons on stress and stress management.

Students explored how stress affects the body and mind, learned about different stress responses, and practiced grounding skills they can use in real-life situations. The lesson was practical, relevant, and empowering—exactly the kind of learning that sticks.

Throughout the year, Mr. Brown and Ms. Wimsatt have consistently brought in guest speakers, giving students repeated opportunities to learn from professionals in the field. These experiences create authentic, real-world learning that helps students see the direct connection between classroom instruction and life beyond school.

This experience beautifully connected to our District Graduate Profile competencies:
