π Transformational Lesson of the Week: Mr. Brown and Ms. Wimsatt! π |
Weβre excited to recognize Mr. Brown and Ms. Wimsatt for delivering a truly impactful learning experience in their Health classes! This week, they welcomed ten nursing students from Bellarmine University, who led engaging lessons on stress and stress management.
Students explored how stress affects the body and mind, learned about different stress responses, and practiced grounding skills they can use in real-life situations. The lesson was practical, relevant, and empoweringβexactly the kind of learning that sticks.
Throughout the year, Mr. Brown and Ms. Wimsatt have consistently brought in guest speakers, giving students repeated opportunities to learn from professionals in the field.
