🌟 Transformational Lesson of the Week: Ms. Whitlow! πŸŒŸ

We are proud to recognize Ms. Whitlow for this week’s β€œTransformational Lesson of the Week!” The BCHS Choir recently traveled to Holy Spirit School in Louisville to perform and educate students about Gospel music as part of their Black History Month program. 🎢

This experience beautifully reflects our Graduate Profile competencies:

🎀 Effective Communicator – Students shared the history, meaning, and cultural significance of Gospel music through both performance and education.

🎼 Mastery Learner – Choir students demonstrated high levels of musical skill, preparation, and performance excellence.

🀝 Productive Collaborator – Students worked together as an ensemble to deliver a meaningful and impactful performance.

🧭 Self-Directed Navigator – Students took ownership of their preparation and represented BCHS with professionalism and pride.

🌎 Community Contributor – By sharing their talents and educating younger students, choir members positively impacted the broader community.

We are incredibly proud of Ms. Whitlow and our Choir for using music to educate, inspire, and connect with others!
