🌟 Transformational Lesson of the Week: Col. Hill & 1SG Thacker! 🌟

✨ This week, our JROTC cadets truly demonstrated what it means to live out our district’s Graduate Profile competencies!

🎖️ We were proud to recognize Col. Hill and 1SG Thacker for this week’s “Transformational Lesson of the Week!” Their instruction continues to develop cadets as Mastery Learners and Self-Directed Navigators, equipping students with the discipline and confidence needed for success beyond high school.

🎯 Our rifle team performed exceptionally well at the KY Air Rifle State Championships this past weekend! Their dedication to preparation and continuous improvement reflects the mindset of Mastery Learners. As they now prepare for the 7th Brigade Championship — featuring top teams from five states — they continue to grow as Self-Directed Navigators striving toward high-level goals.

🏅 Following a very successful inspection this week, CSM Hooper from the Kentucky DAI for JROTC recognized Cadets McEntire, Black, and Hernandez for going above and beyond this school year. These cadets exemplify what it means to be Effective Communicators and Community Contributors through their leadership and service.

🎉 Meanwhile, students in Leadership class are actively planning the upcoming Military Ball on March 21. This work showcases their growth as Productive Collaborators and Innovative Problem Solvers as they coordinate logistics, share responsibilities, and bring a meaningful event to life.

🏀 Additionally, our Color Guard proudly represented our school by presenting the colors at the 23rd District Girls and Boys Basketball Championships. Their professionalism demonstrated strong Effective Communication skills and a commitment to serving as Community Contributors beyond the classroom.

👏 We are incredibly proud of how our cadets continue to lead, serve, and grow while embodying the skills outlined in our Graduate Profile!
