This week during Charger Connect, students strengthened essential soft skills while building empathy and resilience through our CharacterStrong programming. Each grade level engaged in developmentally appropriate lessons and activities designed to support personal growth and well-being.
Freshmen: Students focused on perspective-taking, exploring how experiences differ from person to person, and why it can be challenging to fully understand someone else’s point of view.
Sophomores: Students engaged in discussions around mental health and well-being, learning strategies to support their own well-being, and recognize the importance of self-care.
Juniors: Students participated in a class meeting to learn about the upcoming transition from the ACT to the SAT. They received important information about the SAT and the resources available to support them.
Seniors: Students explored how they can use their influence to positively impact others, making the connection that leadership is influence and that their actions and choices matter.
Charger Connect continues to provide meaningful opportunities for students to develop skills that support both academic success and personal growth.
