We hope you had a great weekend as we prepare for a shortened Derby Week! Here are your updates for this week:

OAKS DAY & CHROMEBOOK RETURN

As a reminder, we will NOT BE IN SCHOOL on Oaks Day (Friday, May 1st).  

Additionally, ALL STUDENT CHROMEBOOKS WILL REMAIN AT SCHOOL beginning Thursday, April 30.  This is being done to make any needed repairs and/or updates prior to our Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) window which begins on Monday, May 11.  

VOLUNTEER LUNCHEON

Crossroads Elementary would like to formally invite anyone who has volunteered time with our staff, students, or events for the 2025-2026 school year to a special Volunteer Luncheon on Friday, May 8 @ 11:30 AM.

Please RSVP to our Volunteer Coordinator, Mrs. Pam Daugherty, by Monday, April 27th by stopping by the school, calling the main office (502-869-7400), or emailing her at pamela.daugherty@bullitt.kyschools.us.

We look forward to celebrating all of our volunteers on May 8!

SBDM NOMINATIONS

We will begin taking nominations for anyone interested in serving on our Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) for the 2026-2027 school year. We will be seeking 2 Parent Representatives for next year.  

The SBDM is a group of teachers and parents who are responsible for making decisions for the school regarding a variety of items including budgeting, instruction, and logistics.  

To be considered for one of these 2 positions, you must have a student enrolled at CES for the 2026-2027 school year.
