We hope you a great extended weekend and stayed safe and warm in this early brush with winter! Here are your updates for this final week before Winter Break:

HOLIDAY SPIRIT WEEK

As we close out this final week before Winter Break, we want to have some Holiday fun with staff and students.  As such, we have daily themes and dress up's for everyone to participate in:

Monday:  Smooth as Velvet or Mad for Plaid
Wear either your fancy velvet or best holiday plaid.

Tuesday:  Merry and Mischief
Wear elf, reindeer, or Grinch gear.

Wednesday:  Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
Decorate yourself as a Tree or as a Present

Thursday:  Ugly Holiday Sweater
Wear your best or "ugliest" holiday sweater.

Friday:  Holiday PJ Day
Wear your favorite (school appropriate) Holiday Pajamas!

UPDATED NTI DAY SCHEDULE

We had our first Non-Traditional Instructional (NTI) Day unexpectedly a couple weeks ago and we anticipate this being something that comes up again this year.  As such, we have made some adjustments to our schedule to create some consistency across our grade level teams.  You can see that updated schedule HERE.  

Highlights include:
-Common start time of 9:00 AM for all grade levels
-Common lunch time/break from 11:30 - 12:30
-Balance of synchronous (live on screen) and asynchronous (independent student work) time.

Teachers will remain available throughout the day (9:00 - 3:40) for any support needed from students and/or parents.  

WINTER BREAK

If you didn't already know, we are 5 days away from our Winter Break.  That break will run from Monday, December 22nd through Friday, January 3rd.  Additionally, we will have a Bullitt Day on Monday, January 5th.  

Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 6th.
