Happy Sunday Crossroads Families,

We hope you had a restful weekend as we finally said goodbye to February! Here are your updates for this week:

DOUGHNUT WITH GROWNUPS

We will be holding a Doughnut with Grownups event every morning during the week of March 2 - 6.  The schedule is as follows:
 
Monday (March 2):  Kindergarten
Tuesday (March 3):  1st Grade
Wednesday (March 4):  2nd & 3rd Grade
Thursday (March 5):  4th & 5th Grade

The event is free of charge and will be held daily from 8:00 - 8:45 AM.

Be on the lookout for RSVP forms going home this week and return those ASAP so we can get an accurate count for that event.

PTA FAMILY SKATE NIGHT

The Crossroads PTA will be hosting a Family Skate Night on Thursday, March 5th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Skate-O-Rama (4650 North Preston Highway).

The cost of admission is $5 and skate rental is an additional $4 (CASH ONLY).  

We look forward to seeing all of our Trailblazers on Thursday at this event!

SICKNESS AWARENESS

It's the time of the year where the common illnesses (Strep, Flu, Cold) and other viruses are taking their toll on our student (and staff) body!  We do our best to practice routine hygiene and health practices everyday, but we encourage you to have a conversation with your students about the importance of washing their hands regularly and being aware of their symptoms. 

Due to the contagious nature of some of those illnesses, we ask that if you're student is symptomatic that you do NOT send them to school!  As a reminder, any student with a temperature of 100.3 or higher, vomiting, or diarrhea will be sent home and cannot return to school until they are 24 hours symptom free.
