TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
MAY 5 - 9

The first week in May means we've arrived at Teacher Appreciation Week! We have the BEST staff in all of BCPS and we can't wait to celebrate them this week! Even if you can't bring a gift for a teacher, be sure to give them a shout out or some kind words this week (and all weeks)!

KSA TESTING COMING

We will begin our Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) testing next week (May 12) for our 3rd-5th grade students. This is an important assessment for our students as it is used by the state as one measure to determine our success as a school this year.

Teachers have already started talking with students about goal setting and how to be prepared physically, mentally, and emotionally for testing. We ask that you also engage your students in these conversations to help them be prepared to give their best on those assesments.

CHROMEBOOKS STAY AT SCHOOL

We've hit the point in the year where Chromebooks will no longer be sent home with students. This is done to allow for them to be ready for end of year testing and to assess any damage and make repairs as needed.

Please be mindful that any damages and needed repairs will be communicated and billed accordingly.
