We hope you a restful weekend and you're ready for a short 2 days until Thanksgiving Break! Here are your updates for this week:

CES ACCOUNTABILITY SCORES

Last week the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) released their annual Accountability scores for all schools.  Crossroads Elementary had a composite score of 46.4 which equated to an Orange Rating for the 2024-2025 school year. 

While we aren't where we want to be yet, we look forward to continuing to work with our students, staff, and families to continue to make CES a great place for students to learn and grow as individuals.  

PTA FUNDRAISING UPDATES

Candles have arrived! We will be sorting them for distribution tomorrow: MONDAY (November 24) from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at CES. Please make every effort to pick up during that time as we CAN NOT send these home with the students.

Additionally, ALL TEXAS ROADHOUSE FUNDRAISER MONEY NEEDS TO BE IN BY MONDAY (NOVEMBER 24).  Orders will not be accepted over the break to allow for quicker processing of orders.  

CHRISTMAS FOOD DRIVE

Our Christmas Food Drive is off to a fast start and we appreciate all the items everyone has donated so far.  As a reminder,  from now until December 5th we will be collecting food to support families in our local community this holiday season.  We're asking grade levels to bring in the following items:
-Kindergarten:  Stuffing Mix
-1st Grade:  Mac and Cheese
-2nd Grade:  Cornbread Mix
-3rd Grade:  Green Beans
-4th Grade:  Instant Potatoes
-5th Grade:  Corn

Items can be dropped off in labeled boxes in the front hall at any time.
