We hope you a weekend of rest and recovery as we brace for some cooler temperatures (and maybe some snow) this week! Here are your updates for this week:

SICKNESS AWARENESS

It's the time of the year where the common illnesses (Strep, Flu, Cold) and other viruses are starting to make their way into our schools!  We do our best to practice routine hygiene and health practices everyday, but we encourage you to have a conversation with your students about the importance of washing their hands regularly and being aware of their symptoms. 

Due to the contagious nature of some of those illnesses, we ask that if you're student is symptomatic that you do NOT send them to school!  

Caring is sharing except when you're sick!

VETERANS DAY CEREMONY

We will be holding our Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 14th @ 9:00 AM. If a student plans to bring a family member or other veteran with them on that day, they should have completed an RSVP that was due last week.  Following our ceremony, students and their guests will be invited to the cafeteria for some light refreshments.  

CHROMEBOOKS COMING HOME SOON!

As we get closer to the winter weather season, we always need to be prepared for the potential for school closures and delays.  As such, we will be sending home Chromebooks with students by Thanksgiving Break in case we should ever need to deploy a Non-Traditional Instructional (NTI) Day.

If you have NOT paid your School Technology Fee, your student will not be permitted to take their Chromebook home.  If this applies to you, please reach out to your students teacher ASAP so we can process your payment and/or discuss potential options.
