We hope to see you all at our Fall Festival this evening. If you didn't prepay, don't worry. You can purchase tickets on site. We will be here from 5:00-8:30.

District's Realignment Plan

II am sure that most of you have heard that beginning next school year, some students' home school will change. If you are affected by the realignment, you will receive a letter from BCPS. Included in the letter are details on how to apply for a transfer. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Board of Education.

  Great things happening at FES

Each class has a "buddy class" at Freedom. This week, Mrs. Greenwell's kindergarten class and Ms. Dunning's 3rd grade class paired up to learn about apples and the work of Johnny Appleseed. Our students are learning to be productive collaborators.

Beanstack anyone?

You may have heard your children talking about Beanstack. It is a reading tracker that we started to use this year to track the books we read. You can even download the app on your own device.

Friendly Reminders...

Clear water bottles are an expectation. If we can not tell what is in the container, it should not be brought to school.

Please stay in your car during dismissal. If your child needs assistance with their seat belt, please pull over into the parking lot after going through the circle. You can assist them there.

Fall Break is around the corner. We will be out of school beginning October 6th and will return on Tuesday, October 14th.
