This week will be a 4-day week for us. There will be no school on Friday, May 2. In honor of Derby week, students can wear a hat on Thursday for $1. This will be a fundraiser for Academic Team.

End-of-the Year Happenings
Kindergarten promotion will be Wednesday, May 28 at 9:30 a.m. 5th grade promotion will be Thursday, May 29 at 9:30 a.m. We ask that only 4 visitors per student attend. There is limited space in the gym. We also ask that siblings who attend Freedom not attend.
Field day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 27. If the forecast is for rain on that day, we will move Field Day to the last day of school, Friday, May 30.

Our first grade classes are leading the race toward the Jump Party. Thank you to all that have completed online registrations for next year.

Hebron Middle School is sponsoring a parent meeting for families of 3rd-5th grade girls. This link has more information.
Special Olympics
Our district has set a goal to raise $13,000 for Special Olympics. This fundraiser will begin Monday, April 28 and run through May 21. Freedom has set a goal to raise $500 toward the district's goal
We will raise money by having a UL vs UK contest. There will be containers set up at the entrance of school each morning where students can deposit donations to the container of their choice.
We will keep you posted on how much we are raising for Special Olympics.
