While outside is trying to decide between being cool or warm, we are working hard inside. The teachers have designed lessons that are challenging our students. This week, as we were in classrooms, we observed students multiplying fractions in 5th grade, building three-digit numbers in second grade, and comparing two-digit numbers in first grade. Students in 4th grade were reading and analyzing text, third graders were busy writing CREs while kindergarten students decomposed teen numbers.

If you ask your child what they learned at school and they said "nothing", ask them to think again.

Learning in elementary school is essential. Each day builds on earlier learning. So, each day absent is a missed opportunity for your child to learn something they will need in order to understand more difficult material later. Research shows that attendance is an important factor in student achievement.

As of today, our 1st grade families have enrolled the most students leading the way with next year's registration. This competition will run through Thursday, May 1.

Log into Infinite Campus and make sure to choose Freedom as your school and 25-26 as the year. There is only one application needed per family. If a student isn't listed, click "Add New Student".
